Effective 15 October 2026. This policy covers the multimediaverse.com website and the games and tools played on it. The Rook Studio desktop app and the Super Nuclear Speed Racing app have their own policies.
Who we are
MultiMediaVerse LLC, a small game studio in Maryland, USA, runs this site. If you have a question about your data, use the form on the Help page or email support@multimediaverse.com.
What we collect
- Playing without an account: nothing is sent to us. Game progress is saved in your browser on your device. Clearing site data erases it.
- Creating an account: your email address, a username if you choose one, and a password stored only as a hash. If you sign in with Google, Microsoft or Apple, we receive your email address and the provider’s account identifier, never your password with that provider.
- Buying a pass: payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We keep the Stripe customer and payment identifiers, what you bought, when, and whether it was refunded, so we can give you access and handle refunds.
- Help and bug reports: what you type in the form, the game and page you were on, your browser type, and, if you give it, your email address so we can reply.
- Site statistics: we use Jetpack Stats (Automattic) to count page views, countries and referrers. It uses a cookie and your IP address. See Automattic’s privacy policy.
- Security logs: the hosting firewall and login protection record IP addresses of requests, including failed sign-ins, for a short time.
Cookies
Signing in sets the usual WordPress login cookies. Jetpack Stats sets a statistics cookie. Games may store settings and saves in your browser’s local storage. We do not run advertising or ad-tracking cookies.
How we use it
To sign you in, give you the access you bought, send receipts, password resets and replies to your reports, keep the site secure, and see which pages people visit. We do not sell personal data and we do not send marketing email unless you ask for it.
Who else sees it
Stripe (payments), Google, Microsoft and Apple (only if you sign in with them), Automattic (Jetpack Stats, spam filtering through Akismet on comments), Microsoft 365 (our email), and our web host GoDaddy. Each handles data under its own policy. We share data with no one else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Account and purchase records stay while your account exists. Help reports are kept for up to two years. Security logs are kept for a few weeks. Statistics are kept in aggregate.
Your choices
You can change your email, username and password on the Account page. To get a copy of your data or to delete your account and its data, ask through the Help page and we will do it within 30 days. Purchase records that we must keep for tax and fraud reasons are kept in Stripe. If you are in the EU, UK or California, you have the rights those laws give you, and we will honour them.
Children
Anyone can play the free games without an account. Accounts and purchases are for people aged 13 and over. If a child under 13 has created an account, tell us through the Help page and we will delete it.
Changes
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
