Rook Studio is a Windows desktop application made by MultiMediaVerse LLC (“we”, “us”). It helps a creator plan, produce and publish their own short-form videos. This policy explains what information Rook Studio handles and how.
The short version
- Rook Studio runs on your own computer. We don’t operate servers that receive your data.
- Sign-ins and API keys are stored encrypted on your computer and are only sent to the service they belong to.
- We don’t sell, rent or share your information, and we don’t use it for advertising.
- You can disconnect any account and delete all stored data at any time.
Information Rook Studio accesses
When you connect a social media account (for example TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, X or LinkedIn), you sign in on that platform’s own website and approve specific permissions. Rook Studio then receives an access token that lets it act only within those permissions. Depending on the platform and the permissions you approve, Rook Studio may:
- Read basic account information: your account ID, display name, username and profile picture. This is used only to show which account is connected.
- Upload videos, captions and cover images that you created and chose to publish, to your own account.
- For Facebook and Instagram, list the Pages and linked Instagram professional accounts you manage, so you can choose where to publish.
Rook Studio does not read your messages, followers, contacts or other people’s content, and it does not post anything without your action in the app.
Where information is stored
Access tokens, refresh tokens, app secrets and API keys are stored only on your computer, encrypted with your Windows user account (Windows Data Protection API). Once saved, they are never displayed again. Your video projects, scripts, images, audio and video files stay in the project folders you choose on your computer.
Services Rook Studio connects to
Rook Studio sends information directly from your computer to the services you choose to use, and only to do the task you ask for:
- Social platforms you connect, to verify your account and publish your content.
- AI services you add keys for (such as OpenAI and Kling), to generate scripts, images or video from the text, images and audio you provide.
Each of these services handles data under its own privacy policy. Voice generation with the optional local VoiceStudio tool happens entirely on your computer.
Disconnecting and deleting your data
- In Rook Studio, open Profiles → Social accounts and click Disconnect to delete that platform’s stored sign-in and secret from your computer.
- Deleting a profile removes all of its stored sign-ins.
- You can also revoke Rook Studio’s access at any time from each platform’s own security or connected-apps settings.
- To remove everything, uninstall Rook Studio and delete the folder
%LOCALAPPDATA%\RookStudio.
Because we don’t hold your data on our servers, there is nothing for us to delete on our side. If you have questions or want confirmation, contact us at the address below.

Rook Studio is not intended for anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
